New Civil Fees

Civil Hearings are held once per month, usually the first Monday of each month. It is the responsibility of the attorney in the case to request that the case be court reported, even though we always send a copy of each calendar to each Judges’ court reporter.

CRIMINAL
We have two terms of court in February and in August. We file the cases and get them ready for trial. The clerk and deputy clerk are responsible for getting out all notices and calendars as well as issuing subpoenas in criminal cases.

JURY MANAGEMENT
We send out all traverse and grand jury summons for court sessions and process excuses to be approved by the judge. We keep jury lists up to date.

JUVENILE COURT
Juvenile and Adoption records are not open to the public. We file and manage these records but they are kept locked.

CHILD SUPPORT
This office also handles and keeps records of child support payments when it is ordered through the court to be paid through our office.

OTHER PROCEDURES
Military Discharge Records are filed free of charge in this office. Also copies of these are provided free of charge.

Notary Public Applications and Appointments are filed in the clerk’s office. Fee for this is $37.00.
